Pow!
It seems that the world of professional bike racing has gone and exploded, so we shall direct our focus back to what matters most to the majority of us—categorized racing in the NYC area.
Saturday has the Cedar Creek Criterium in Wantagh, and the beginning of the Tour de Syracuse in Syracuse, NY.
Sunday has more options with the Kings County Kermesse at FBF; the second day of the Tour de Syracuse; the Jersey Shore Time Trial in Seaside Park, NJ (do they have a special "Snookie" category?); and for the dirty crowd, there’s the Campmor H2H Race #2 Tymor Park Challenge in Lagrangeville, NY—which sounds like a haven for ZZ Top fans.
There is the CRCA Power Points Race on Saturday too Dan.

Is River Road rideable?
Yes – just be careful if you descend Apline – the road is not in great shape there – otherwise good to go.
