The Category 3 and Pro/Category 1-2 race will be run as a handicap race. The Category 3 field starts first and then the Pro Category 1-2 field starts 3 minutes later. Both fields race for the same prize money so the Pro/Category 1-2 riders must catch the Category 3 riders in order to place. There are also races for Category 4 and 5 riders.
