Got a lot of stuff lying around the apartment? Got better things to do than list them on eBay, answer stupid questions, track down payment, and go to the post office? Take your stuff to Glenn at Piermont Bikes and let him do it for you. He’ll take ANYTHING that’ll sell, as long as it’s shippable by UPS (a bike box is about the maximum size). With a 100% positive feedback score, Glenn can get top dollar for your stuff.
You can ship your stuff to Glenn if you’re not planning a trip to the store. Just include an inventory of your stuff along with any details that should be in the eBay listing. Glenn will email you the link to your auctions once your items are on line. Ship them to:

If you opt for store credit and turn your junk into bike goodies, Piermont will take 10% of the final winning price to cover listing fees. You can also use the credit in either of their online stores.
If you opt for cash then Glenn will send you a check less 35% of the final winning price.
Glenn is serious about taking anything. Obviously, bike stuff is a no brainer for him, but he has also sold scuba equipment, cameras, guitars and amps, coats, drapes, Giants tickets, binoculars, software, stemware, you name it. Even old bike clothing sells well, and that includes shorts.
So, what can you YOU get from your old junk? I’m selling anything that’s not bolted down until I have enough credit for an R3 SL or a BMC. Maybe it’ll come with Schmalz’s front wheel.
How about a used Zipp 404 front wheel?
I assume he makes an exception for shorts from Ugly.
I unloaded my crappy fsa k-force carbon crank and got a brand spankin new 07′ campy crank. Turnaround was just a couple weeks and everybody’s happy!
I’m embarrassed to admit it, but I distinctly remember you bitching about that fsa crank all last fall, Lee3. I’m sure the new owner will be as happy about it as you were. I just hope they are not as loud about it.
I would never sell that particular piece of crap crank to anyone..If this is what you’re suggesting. I sent the crap back to FSA, they sent me a brand new one – upon which I never took out of the box. I dont do dirty deals, unlike some folks around here.
I’m sure my outspoken attitude saved some poor schmo 500.00 large. So I’d say positive karma is more the order.
When are you guys gonna get global and stop being so protectionist. Start shipping to Canada. We’re nice up here eh.
All I have to say is that this is all about business and don’t take the name of sports in vain. To be frank this is all we can do. We can’t satisfy our hunger with passion for sports.
