Studies have shown that weed decreases ability to perform tasks that are new or difficult to us but increases coordination and awareness in tasks that are mastered therefore increases performance by creating trans-like concentration.
It took a lot of searching to find this study and I don’t feel like looking it up for you. Google.
i smelled some “jamaican smells” while racing harlem. it was pleasant.
I do all my steady state intervals sober, as not to disrupt the targeting of HR zones. Weed definitely boosts my HR about 10bpms.
However, any recovery ride, vo2max, max efforts, or jump intervals, I do stoned out of my gourd. I really put out much more explosive power this way and have more fun.
I know Andy has featured Mark here on several occasions. I would like to give him a shot but I have heard some surprising criticism – anyone have any experience with him they can share?
Mark’s reviews are to be taken with a pound of salt, considering the army installed a plate in his head back in 1986.
what does that mean?
I’m curious what the surprising criticism is. I’ve used him most of this summer and he’s been great. Not only does he get the job done and get it right, if you’re so inclined you can stand there and ask him questions while he does it. There’s no question he knows of what he speaks and he’s honest and accountable to boot.
I was told by two people not to use him, but they wouldn’t elaborate…I can’t figure it out. This is why I am asking for input here. Thanks.
