Ben King did show up. He was sick, so he started the race, but slowly drifted back and out of the race. He went home to rest. Awfully nice of him to come out so early when he is sick.

He started his sprint on the far left, racers POV, and end up at the far right. So much for holding your line during the sprint. Or maybe his sprint line is just diagonal and that is what he held?

Ricky rode a clean and safe and legal sprint, the road is up hill, the gaps between him and other riders big…he out jumped Foundation/Gavin on the left (smart, less steep) and then used Gavi’s slipstream to go the short way, the (right)way the road turns, and less steep…a perfect sprint. That was not dangerous in anyway unless you were blown up yourself and getting in the way. If anything was dangerous, it was Foundation getting in the way after Ricky SMOKED them!

FDN getting in the way (guys sitting up, do that when you are at the Giro when your team mate actually is winning, on a tailwind flat sprint not a headwind uphill, douche)…
if anything Gavi changes line…but that happens when you are at mxm…nice ride by Gavi/Jeff for going so far out. either needed more help from teams that could have been in the break, or go later when teams would have been too tired to chase…best turkey race that I can remember…
now rest and see you Jan.1st…
when’s them roller races?
