A moment of sadness
EURIS VIDAL had his life and promising career cut short while in Santiago, Dominican Republic.
The 26 year old was a member of CRCA Foundation and lived in the Bronx. He was a sprinter set to join teammates on the Incycle-Predator Components Team next year. Euris has also competed on track for the Dominican National Team.
Euris Vidal was a shining member of the NYC cycling community. It is truly ironic that a rider who protected countless teammates on the field would apparently die protecting another from a violent robbery attempt.
Many NY cyclists remembered him today as the news of his death spread quickly among the riders out to take advantage of the warm day.
Tributes on his team’s facebook page are growing but sadly nobody has answers to this senseless tragic loss.
Marco, for the memorial and, as always, the wonderful images. Que en paz descanse Euris.
A young man with a promising career cut down in his prime. He was trying to help someone else when he was killed.
But if you are nevertheless paying or receiving alimony ,
you are still connected for tax purposes.

May he RIP.
R.I.P will never be forgotten .
Requiescat in Pace
This is tragic news. Truly heartbreaking.
He and his family will be in our prayers. Sympathies to all the Vidal family.
