I love this pic. Spider just attacked the field, got joined by JLo, got dropped by JLo and then dropped by the group and was out of the race, maybe lap 5. And what’s with him wearing random non-champ sys kits the past few weeks. Did they get rid of him? He’s so sketchy out there and loves to let huge gaps open in the middle of the field w/o ever offering a sling.
Wheelsucker
that floyd strategy is not exclusive to spider
Wheelsucker
Usually Spider’s strategy is to get dropped immediately, ride until he gets lapped, then rejoin the field to finish and not DNF.
really nice shots tom, especially like the low angle stuff

Diaz Corrales: this aint’t no park rider. FBF: easy pickings for a Colombian pro. Amaury who?
Seppe Ergopower
Pretty soon you will need to bunny hop the long grass growing on the course.
Great pics!

Daan, thank you for sharing that video with us. It looks like this kid Diaz is pretty good. He just won a stage in Guadeloupe a couple of weeks ago. I did some research and he’s also won in Europe, including Montjuic in 2006. In 2008 he won Vuelta al Huila in Colombia and also won gold medal in the points race at the XVIII National Sporting Games in Cali Colombia. He ain’t a park rider…. def a pro. New Yorkers… you better watch out, the Colombian kid is in town.
Victor Swage
the kid is getting ready for Bighamton and Univest, Andres is a formed cyclist at colombia cyclism school. i can interview him for nyelocity because we have a lot to learn from him, specially on his opinion about the cyclist scene in new york and who has the talent. The day he won at FBF, he did 5 hour on the bike, next day 11 hours and today 4 hour of intense rest.
Chad Feldheimer
4 hour rest interval? brutal
Jarne Seatmast
I just did four hours of intense rest with your moms.

GWB to Bear Mountain back to GWB and back to Nyack then Back to GWB. 11 hours. NYC to Montauk, 10 hours.
Big butts are fine
Indeed, that would be a ride worthy of the epic stamp. Totally batshit crazy but epic indeed. The other option would be 44 laps of Central Park. The upside is you could stop for hot dogs.
shaw-
this is who i’m racing against at fbf? i’m just an old crappy cat 3. i thought it was bad enough that empire was showing up with five guys, but now we got pros from colombia on top of the other pro/semi pro guys from DR etc. no wonder i suck out there.
harry scrotom

Hey is there a Race to Kill Kissena this year?
We are all Noah
I’m going to try out a pair of Zipps so I’ll probably be around 2-3 mph faster than you. I was planning on leaving at 2AM. Can you borrow a set of fast wheels so we can ride together?
My girlfriend said she’d drive up to bring me back but I figure I’ll call in sick on Monday and just ride home.
Lucas Housing
there is a catch kissena this year, mid – sept….
