Seems like this event become nationals part 2 as there were close to zero international racers (not including Canada). Also, is it me or is the Masters 30plus and 35plus kind of silly. Its like the award for fastest elite sandbagger. These guys are in the prime of their cycling life and are elite/am racers that would be top 20 at US UCI races. Kind of silly to call a 30 year old cat 1 a master. I hope Worlds has a better turnout for non-us and Canadian racers.
Looking over the results, seems like Nationals were actually deeper in talent. One last thought, what happened to Johnny Bold in CX this year – injury. Would have been interesting to see him and Roger at Natonionals and Worlds.
