Long Meadow Time Trial

Location:

North end of Long Meadow Rd. @ Stirling Vol Fire Dept Long Meadow Road, Tuxedo Park, NY

14.8 mile out-and-back time trial

The Long Meadow Time Trial is approximately a 14.8 mile out-and-back time trial along Long Meadow Road, a gorgeous country rolling road just outside of Harriman State Park. The race effectively goes down, and back along Long Meadow.  I would consider it a fast course, but there are a few tough rollers each way.  It is a great blend of power, speed and fast powerful climbing.  In our best estimation, this is a course which might favor a TT bike, or a road bike with aeroclips, yet we would suggest your fastest equipment.

*First rider is off at 8am*
This TT will have a Ramp Start

Aero bars, disc wheels, and time trial bikes will be permitted for this race.

Parking: Will be available at the northern end of Longmeadow at the building just behind the firehouse until full, and then just 1.2 miles up the road on 17A at the first large parking area of the Renaissance Festival Parking Lot. (Follow signs…)

CRCA: This race will be serving as the 2013 CRCA TT Club Championship Event.
