DESCRIPTION:The Second Annual Danbury Audi – Race4Scholars Criterium will be held in historic downtown Danbury on Sunday\, August 16\, 2015. Racing starts at 11:00 am. \nLast year’s event drew over 315 professional and elite amateur racers from 9 states and from Canada\, Costa Rica\, Dominican Republic\, Germany and New Zealand.  \nThe course is a classic .6-mile (1K) four corner Criterium. Course characteristics include a long\, fast\, downward straightaway (start/finish)\, into a 90-degree Turn 1. There is a slight riser that begins after Turn 2 and ends after Turn 4. Racers will tell you\, the course is technical\, challenging\, spectator-friendly and fast! Expect constant attacks as a breakaway is bound to happen at some point.
