On Friday, November 20th, join Frankie Andreu for the New York debut of “For The Love of Mud”.
This is a film meditating on and celebrating cyclocross by filmmaker Benedict Cam It’s beautiful. It’s dirty. It has the hotness. This screening is the New York premiere. And you’ll be able to catch it for free.
Frankie Andreu, former national champion, EuroPro, Olympian, commentator, and team director will be at NYC Velo in Hells Kitchen to introduce the movie as well as discuss it and whatever else cycling is on your mind. Beer, brats, bicycles. An unbeatable triumvirate. As an added bonus, he’ll also be announcing the Supercross Cup races over the weekend, and interviewing our winners.
NYC Velo is a shop for cyclists, run by cyclists. They race, ride for fun and exercise, commute, and support cyclists in every two-wheeled pursuit.
For The Love of Mud is a feature-length documentary by reporter, photographer, digital artist and filmmaker Benedict Campbell. For those who have never seen cyclocross in person, it’s it’s an unbeatable introduction. For those who have lived it, it’s eye-opening. http://www.loveofmud.com/ ( or https://vimeo.com/78835311)
