Team CRCA / SouthAfrica.net announces sponsors and roster for 2007
Team CRCA / SouthAfrica.net presented by NYC Cycling Inc., a 501c3 non-profit public charity is pleased to announce South African Tourism as its title sponsor for the 2007 cycling road racing season. Team SouthAfrica.net raced as Edgemont Capital in 2006 and Synergy Bike Fit in 2005 and is a sub-team of the Century Road Club Association (CRCA), the largest bicycle road racing club in the US.
South African Tourism is a public entity of South Africa established to promote that country as a tourist destination in various identified overseas and African countries. Tourism has been identified as one of the largest industries worldwide and is responsible for creating and sustaining thousands of jobs in South Africa.
Additional confirmed sponsors for 2007 include Edgemont Capital, Nola Recording Studio, JB Murphy Associates, La Brisa Restaurant, Fetish Cycles, Maxxis Bike Tires, Endurocoach Training, Piermont Bicycle Connection and Accelerade.
Based in New York City, Team SouthAfrica.net will focus on CRCA club races, and selected Local and Regional races. As a result, the Team expects to race in more than 25 races in Central Park and Prospect Park in 2006. The team will consist of 14 amateur riders, all designated as Category III and IV by the United States Cycling Federation (USCF). In 2006, returning Edgemont Capital riders raced to 63 top-10 finishes, including 21 podium placings and a win at the Green Mountain Stage Race.

Great job. I have been to South Africa and loved it. I stayed in Paarl and Cape Town. I work in the wine business and was sent by KWV for an incentive trip to visit some of the estate. i decided to bring my bike and rode with guys from BarloWorld and some trackies from the National Team. I want my guys to race the Argus in March, but we will see if we have the budget. Best of luck to you all and I hope you guys get to race down there.
