Somebunny’s tired

This holiday weekend is by no means a holiday from athletic strivings, because mightiness doesn’t take a holiday. It just keeps grinding out race after race weekend after weekend until it finds itself on the couch on a Sunday night, unable to gather the strength to walk to the refrigerator. That, my friends is how mightiness spends its weekends.

On Saturday, there’s a Plainville Spring Series race in Plainville, CT. There’s also a Trooper Brinkerhoff Memorial Race in Coxsackie, NY. Newark hosts the Branch Brook Park Spring Series race. On Saturday night, after my bedtime in Brooklyn is the Red Hook Crit in Red Hook, Brooklyn.

On Sunday morning, those with neither egg nor bunny duties can race in Prospect Park in the Spring Series.

Don’t go in front of the pace vehicle. the officials announce it before every race, but always some of you clowns forget it.

From Penn Station to Broad Street (faster than PATH + less issues getting bike on train) – look up Bloomfield Ave on google maps and it will be clear how to ride there

Mike Margarite from the Stan’s NoTubes Team won the A-race on a solo breakaway of about 45 seconds.
