Here comes the cross

The CRCA Team Cup Finale, with double points, takes place tomorrow in Central Park at 6:30 a.m. West 98th Street finish. Sunday of course brings the Nancy Morgenstern Memorial 2010 Fall Bear Mountain Road Race. Online registration is closed but there may be some spaces available.

In New Jersey on Sunday, there’s the Hammonton Blueberry Bicicletta Road Race, with online registration open until 7 p.m. today, and the Race up Sunrise Mountain Benefiting The Trooper Curtis Rohel Memorial Scholarship Fund – pause to catch breath – with registration open until 6 p.m. today.

The cyclocross season opens with a bang: In Trexlertown tomorrow comes Nittany Lion Cross, billed as "UCI C2 – MAC SERIES Race #1 & The 1st UCI Cross Race in the World for the 2010-11 Season.” Online registration is closed. On Sunday in Trexlertown comes the Concrete Crater Cross, online registration closed. In Clinton, New York, there’s the Kirkland Cyclocross Race. Online registration is open until 7 p.m. today.

just wondering if anyone knows when the bridge walkway is actually opened up on weekends. website says 6am, but is it dependably late or early?

Typical firelds are SMALL and usually full of VERY desperate slow people…
