It was a busy weekend of racing, and we even have some digital evidence of the aforementioned racing, so let’s take a moment to disseminate those pixels of accomplishment.
At the Red Hook Criterium, Dan Chabanov won the men’s race and Kacey Manderfield won the women’s race. Results are here. Photos are here, here and here.
As for the rest of the weekend’s racing there’s no information available yet you can check the Spring Series Twitter feed in about a week. Bethel will have results up later today here, and this is the site for the Brinkerhoff Memorial Spring Race Series in Coxsackie.

lolz
Alejandro Guzman won Saturday!
Daniel Cleiman (Sixcycle) won the B field at Trooper Brinkerhoff. The A field was neutralized at the finish as a result of a crash on the lap before.
At Bethel, Sam Morkal-William (CRCA/Junior Development) won the 3/4 race after breaking clear of his 3 man break. Great win for Sam.
In the Cat 4 race at Bethel that was dedicated to Markus Bohler, a rider from Pawling was able to take the win after outsprinting his breakaway companion.
The Battenkill preview ride gave riders a taste of the course – literally. Overnight rains made for a very muddy course and sections were downright scary. Juniper Swamp was especially swampy. Let’s hope for a dry day.

Tee Hee Hee, ha ha ha!!!!
I was top 6 in the Battenkill pre-ride. But I won the sprint to the feed station. PBJ y’all!
How is Brian racing so far this season?
On your wins.
Dan C.
Will S. (aka Victor Polished)
Brian has yet to race, hence no updates. I think he’s planning on Battenkill being his first race—that should go well…
We’re sorry that we had to neutralize the Brinkerhoff A-race on 3/24. The most seriously injured rider is still in the hospital, but the prognosis looks good and hopefully he should be out soon.
Based on feedback from the participants of the A-race, we’ve decided to donate the prize list from Week 1 to the Markus Bohler Memorial Fund.
Hope to see you all again this Saturday!

Too funny
I hear Ronald McDonald is going to take himself with his big ‘ole clown shoes and drive the McDonalds Food Truck and setup a feed station at mile 40 of Battenkill. Hamburglar is going to be throwing cheeseburgers to racers as they pass. Biggie Fries in my center rear pocket jersey and a biggie coke in one of my cages.
Since Stanley’s No Toobers is sponsoring this year’s Battenkill, does that mean nobody will be getting flats?
won Battenkill Pre-Ride feed station sprint, plus top 6 result.
WILL-I-AM RESULTS. BRO.
Anyone know if there are any pics of yesterdays Bethel race out there?.

Is part of the appeal of the Red Hook Crit that they drip oil on the turns. Why are those guys going down?
looks like most of them clipped their pedals on the low side going around the turn, really evident with the first guy.
Just plain silly.
some of them tried to coast through the corner and got dumped by their bikes
wassaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Moser, are you saying you’re not supposed to stop pedaling on a track bike prior to entering a corner? Why didn’t the promoter tell me that? I want a refund.
