Beep beep
If this past weekend’s results were an olde time-y telephone, the receiver would be off the hook and we’d be getting a dial tone, followed by that obnoxious “the phone’s off the hook” noise, and then complete silence, which is what we have now. Almost complete results silence—but do I care? Not really, because that means less typing for me.
CRCA—no results.
Quabbin—no results.
Spring Series—c’mon, what do you expect?
There are results for the BLP 2209 Gran Prix presented by Champion System, you can see them here. And I’m not rtyping out teh winner’s name becuase I don’t know who they are and I’m super lazy.
There, barely any typing.

Yes, I am lazy. If you have complaint, I will gladly refund your subscription fee.
full field of about 70
Maragritaville did the same at Cherry Blossom. We are in Spring shape he is in Summer shape, clearly.
I had so much fun on Sunday at PP, not only was there good competition, but dodging non racing cyclists and a Wood Chipper added thrills and chills
We didn’t chase. Between the wind and indifference, no one seemed to care and I was one of those. We had some very slow laps in there. Maybe Mike wasn’t hungover like I was.
looks like nobody races CRCA anymore. Those races are too crowded.
And there was a cold deluge on Sat. Brr. I liked the Woodchipper on Sunday. We need that more at races to spice things up.
Sounds like a field of 70 hung over guys. Right makes sense.
Michael margarite won Sundays P/1/2/3 ss @ pp. He soloed in approx 45 seconds ahead of the field after holding this single man breakaway for a good 35 minutes. The rest of the field remained together for a bunch sprint.
Someone send me Michael margarite contact info
So one guy soloed away from a charging field and put almost 1 min into a field? You guys suck!
or, he’s pretty dammed great.
its pretty damn great.
Avd posted finish line pictures on twitter, show some initiative Schmalz

that there was an organized effort to catch this guy.
Was it a 20 man field?
count the racers, make a note of it, and include that number, with a note, when you put in for your upgrade.
Who cares lets just get A and B’s samples and put this to bed.
Glenn could lap a combined field of 50 Espoirs on ritalin and 70 Masters on ludes at Central Park.
I was trying to catch up to Glen to find out what bike he rides so I can buy it for myself and family so we can channel our inner Glen on family rides.
This could make the Hopeful Friday obsolete, the lazy guy in me is hoping so.

Dan the winner at BLP was from Glen Ferriera, credit where credit’s due.
That Dan guy from Metra was on fire. He was attacking himself after he broke away from attacking the field. One brave soul bridged across and held on for dear life, poor guy aged 10 years after that effort.
Yes, Glenn’s efforts were pretty impossible to follow yesterday for the 18 that remained not pulled from the race. Sadly the guy who finished with Glenn was relegated and DSQ’d. All that effort for nothing.
Really why? I would have given him a pass just for surviving the onslaught.
He was so happy to survive the breakaway that he yelled “F**K YEAH!!” as he crossed the line in front of 3 officials including the regional coordinator. It was actually pretty serious since he did it in front of children. They nearly suspended him. He apologized and you could tell he felt bad, but argued that they should move him to the back of the breakaway as normal relegations go. However, this was grounds for DSQ I guess. They were thumbing through the rule book. I felt bad for the guy, that had to be tough. In case you don’t know, drafting behind Glenn in his nearly TT setup is like drafting behind a stick on bicycle. Just not much of a rest. To ride all that way, that hard, win and then lose. Ouch
Puta
I would have had an orgasm too after that effort. That’s equivalent to holding on to Cancellara’s wheel to the finish line. The kid took a flogging.
enough about the kid hanging on to his wheel. what about glen?
He had a kid hanging on to his wheel.
oh
If a Cat 4 looking to upgrade races – and podiums – in a team Squiggle NY series road race with 50 racers, however, team squiggle reports to USA cycling the first 9 places. Does the Cat 4 get full up road upgrade points? How can the Cat 4 show that he/she podium in a race fielding the minimum number of racers?
Do tell.
Glen Ferreira is the one touted to be racing with Cancellara-like abilities
Glen was inspirational.
Glenn would probably lap the field at Prospect if Margarite put almost a minute into a field of 70 hung over guys.
all hail Glen! Glen to mengoni!!
1 Curtis White
2 Gilberth Gomez Valverde
3 Timothy Ahearn
4 Brian Fuller
5 Austin Vincent
6 Anthony Rodriguez Morel
7 Connor Jennings
8 Guillermo Gonzalez Castro
9 Eugene Boronow
10 Jd gauthier
Yes, Cancellara like abilities if Cancellara were one to drag the whole field up to a break that included his teammate. How can you reward his selfish riding style… or is everyone just oblivious?
Ask for the start list, or some official document after the race showing how many starters were at the Spring Series and take a picture on your phone.
Am I missing something here…. looks like the story is A beats B, A drops F bomb and gets dq’ed, now everyone is praising B for not actually winning a race :/

Somewhat timely partial results. Kissena should think about having sub teams.
