Hangover 9/27

No official results yet from either the CRCA race or the Rockleigh Fall Classic. However "Buddy Elf" did offer this for the Central Park event:

Cat4/B field top 3

Antonio Munoz, Jordan/Zephyr
Dean Brizel, Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez
Len Galata, NYVC

Sorry not having deeper results or if anyone’s name is misspelled, all I could remember at the line…

And Kelly’s husband Mark, raced the Cat5s placing top ten…

Women’s Race
Kristin Lotito, HL/S
Sarah Sauveryfine, CC
Ann Marie Miller, HL/S

A Field/Cat123
Lisbon, Foundation
J-Lo, AXA
Gregory Olsen, Adler
Ricky, Die Hard

No idea C field/Cat5 as they were sprinting same time as Women.

Also, someone should call the "Popcorn" Tonka Toy that casued mayhem in the race.
Speedy recovery to anyone that crashed today.

Starting out as a one-day race dedicated to the memory of Art Longsjo, over a half-century ago, the Longsjo Classic will return to its roots and again become a one-day race for the 52nd edition.

“While we are reducing the number of days of racing, it will allow us to pack the energy, excitement, and amazing history of the race into one day of amazing competition for the riders and fans.” said the race’s Executive Director, Ed Collier.

Yes, excitables, 3 man break in A field, 4 woman break in W field, B was field sprint as was C field, but the moto pace vehicles sure did mess up that one…

Alrighty then….

Sacha O-Ring

Could we all chip in and get Greg a new skinsuit?
He’s really in need. He looks like he got farted out of Ken Harris’ ass….

Joe Public (Duh!)

Seriously, that was funny. Great image, Olsen getting blown out of Ken’s corn-hole.

Yeah, he needs a new skinsuit AND helmet for sure!

not for nothing but CRCA staff, and CRCA website is the most slow and worst site ever !!…i hope they fix someday the whole system, for boards directors, to marshals, the website needs really people that live and enjoy cyclism for real, most of the time results are no posted, if not incomplete, and most of the time it take about a week just to post a simple list of results, is a shame that the CRCA org that always charge $10 per race evey sat in the season are just so dumb and retarded to post simple results for the race that they charge the $10, and ig somebody look on the contacts list or board of directors is like 100 names there!!! for what???…names and names there of people that do nothing. is a shame

Amerigo Saddlebag

CRCA board nominations are open, why dont you run for VP of racing so next year you can input the race results yourself?

Sonny

If you are unhappy with the way CRCA is run, kindly get involved. I believe the position for Director of Club Racing is open.

Collectively the Board puts in thousands of hours a year to operate the club.

Noe Plug

Yeah, shame on CRCA for charging me 10 bucks and not posting my totally awesome 12th place within hours, on a course as smooth as a baby’s ass, on a course that’s a blast to race, on a course in a beautiful park setting, in a park that reluctantly gives out racing permits, in a race that usually gets better photo coverage than most pro races, and smack dab in the center of the greatest city on earth.

“CRCA board nominations are open, why dont you run for VP of racing so next year you can input the race results yourself?”

Yes, run for the board so as soon as you get back from the race on a nice summer morning you can sit in your dirty chamois and get crotch rot while sitting in front of the computer posting results and calculating fucking boyd points.

All so some jerkoff who got 7th place in the C race will feel better about himself and the new Zipp wheels he is paying off over 2 years on his visa

Jean Cage

2 years? Heck, I’m still paying off my Suntour Superbe Pro Gruppo that R&A charged me $4k for back in ’85. They told me it was the best thing to put on my Schwinn Varsity. Interest rate is kind of high though, at 31%, but I can’t complain. They treated me real nice in an eastern european kind of way.

“do whatever it takes, ruin as many people’s lives, so long as you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose or people you leave dead and bloodied along the way, just so long so you can make a name for yourself as an investigatory journalist, no matter how many friends you lose or people you leave dead and bloodied and dying along the way”

Maxime Internal Routing

Just put a p123 race on the calendar for the weekend of Oct 16th. No races scheduled as of now for road or cross.
You dont even have to give out money, just throphies.

Brent Internal Routing

No races the weekend of October 16th, road or cross? Do you live in a fucking cave? That’s Granogue weekend, the biggest CX event on the east coast, you out of touch dickbag.

Maxime Internal Routing

My apologies Brent. I was only talking about the people who did not want to drive to Deleware to race for 45 min.

ERgometor

Yes Granogue is the big time and its 4 hours plus round trip but you there are plenty of good grass roots events within a hour drive from Oct 9 – Dec. WWVelo CX weekend (1 hour away or less and you could race 2 events per day). Hidden Valley CX, Army CX, Staten CX, Hudson Valley CX, Augusta 1 and 2 CX, P-burg CX and Horseshoe CX. Not to worry, you have plenty of racing left this season.

Oh and there is something to be said for having an “Off Season”.
