Hangover 9/22/2008

and you are…

In the CRCA team finale at Central Park, David Taylor of Blue Ribbon-Translations.com won the A race in a break, it would also seem that Foundation wrapped up the team title, but that’s an educated guess.

I’m also guessing that Alex Bremer of Empire was able to hold onto his lead and win the Jim Boyd overall.

In the women’s race, Radical Media wins the race and the team title and apparently the Jim Boyd prize with Margaret Shirley’s victory. Margaret also had time to win a karaoke contest and a raffle for a puppy on her way home. Kudos, Margaret!

In the B field, a mysterious Setanta rider whose identity is unknown to us here won, netting that team the B team overall title. Matt Richards of NYvelocity takes the B field Jim Boyd award.

At the Cadence Catch Kissena race, guess what happened? No one caught Kissena! The team stayed away for the entire race and rolled over the line together, with Eric Ragot officially taking the race win, but the whole Kissena team were winners Saturday morning.

Results from other races are not in yet, so if you won or were present at any of those races, let us know. And if you were at the DC Capital Criterium and put VDV into the curb, we’ll want to know about that also – you blackhearted empty shell of a person.

Alistair Siebert of Setanta won the CRCA B field finale, his first B race win (you can see his reaction). Way to get the job done, Alistair!

The race in DC this past weekend was GREAT. It is hopefully destined to become a real classic. The course absolutely rocked, with wide and mostly well-paved streets. there were 8 corners including a 180 degree hairpin on Pennsylvania Ave with the Capital building as the backdrop. Those DC guys know how to ride crits! It was a tough race, and hopefully more New Yorkers will make the trip down next year. Overall, it was a very memorable experience. The pro race was awesome as well. Just plain cool.

Whoops he did it again!

Paul stopped to take care of his brother after a crash on lap 3.
30(!) minutes later he rejoin the race hahahaha

Peter baimonte got 2nd at the Nationey cyclocross race in PA yesterday. He was beat out by the 55+ masters national champion.

Please post all those negative posts about out of town cross results on my new website, wedontgivetwocrapsaboutyou.org

Crossuckerz

Not sure why guys who are cool enough to do cross would want their results associated with this shite site? The guys that respect cross and their fellow crossers see the results. Those who are too cool to put the rubber to the dirt dont get it anyway so dont waste your time posting here.

See you at the cross races.

Rybarry Trebonwicks

OMG! I don’t know how to scroll on a webpage! Seriously, that’s what you complain about? Be happy someone is posting results. What the f*ck is everyone’s problem? Does racing CRCA put all of you dudes on the same menstrual cycle?

Wheelsucker

A burrows crashing is pretty much a tradition at this point.

As well as them jumping back into a race, then placing.

oh, and its not a black thing, so put the card back in your pocket.

Wheelsucker

OMG!! I just looked. Is there no Turkey Race this year. I’m almost done w/ my base building phase for that race.

Wheelsucker

“Does racing CRCA put all of you dudes on the same menstrual cycle?”

I know we’re a ‘NY’ club but…

Schmalz, here’s tomorrow’s topic.

P.B.

Just stop the bull please, when was the last time a Burrowes crash? o i forgot all blacks look alike and Burrowes r the only black ridings u know. Plus their r 4 of us so the ratio on crashing is kind of….. before i forget i rode every single lab yesterday soooooo here we go again with all blacks looking alike. I’m sorry but i did’t even know we had a crash till after the race when told an ahole put my brother n the hosp. Why? because i’m focus man and u should try it u f-ing pack fuller. I’m sorry now i sound like the angry black man, got to go before my bothers read this and F me up. oh, just saw something on cnn, lets say a survey, that says 40% of those who took it wouldn’t vote for Obama cause he is black and he is half white sooo u right i’ll keep the race card in my pocket. c u nxt year bitches and we r going to make u cat 9 riding look at us even more. This Black man is signing out.

Wheelsucker

so, once again a criticism is deflected by accusations of racism. this is great. oh, yeah, and the spelling…

schmalz

He’s saying that his brother crashed and then some ding dong who can’t tell one Burrowes from another posted that Paul crashed and jumped back in.

caT 9

Look stupid it was not a criticism and i’m sorry bout spelling, my mom being an english professor would ag ree with u but who proof read this aint a fucking term paper, shit i just said aint but for real it wasn’t a criticism bitch.

Wheelsucker

just what does it have to do with obama? that’s my question. I was not at the race, i don’t know the burrows bros. personally. I can’t say anything about this case. I didn’t mean to question anybody, but if he knows what happened, and most people at the race unquestionably know what really happened, then why should he stoop to responding to the ding dongs? It only makes everybody look foolish.

p.b

sorry but i put my name in the wrong place. just had a few beers cause i’m cooking. like to drink when i’m cookng. i leave out letters here n thr so used to texting.

Wheelsucker

and say that shit to their faces. Let’s bring it out in the open and be truthful like real men….oh wait….maybe….naaa, I had so much faith in you.

wheelsucker

Saying shit to their faces makes no difference, it all goes over their head regardless of the delivery method. Trying to explain why cheating is not cool to United is about as fruitful as trying to explain what a red light means to williamsburg hacids.

P.B.,

That was the worst post of all-time. It was almost impossible to read, literally and figuratively. I found it very upsetting.

Wheelsucker

Yes stop the bull, day in and day out you fools are bad talking good cyclist instead of saying congrat(well done). Just because you do not know how hard that person been working all year long. It is always good to say good job buddy. Spending so much time on this site and not realizing that your wife is f–ing the milk man, Or just maybe your brother. The owner of this site needs to do a better job with the posting.

Wheelsucker

who has a milkman? is it 1963 still?

its far more amusing to ridicule those who win, honestly or not, than the congratulate them.
