On Saturday at the handicapped Calvert Toefield Memorial Road Race in Prospect, the 3’s caught the 4’s a little over the halfway point, with Samuel Frias of Dominican Republic coming first, followed by Daniel Lim of CRCA/Die Hard-Think Racing second and Rene Herrera of Kissena, a Cat 4, taking third place. In the 5’s, Aidion Ollivierre of Kissena took first, with Domingo Mello of Mexico-New York Cycling Team second.

No results posted yet for the CRCA race in Central Park yesterday, but we do know Karl Rahn of AXA Equitable won the A race from a split.

In Binghampton at the Chris Thater Memorial Races, Aussies Jonathan Cantwell and Bernard Sulzberger of Fly V Australia took first and second place in the Pro 1 event. Rafael Meran of Mengoni and Clayton Burrows of Axa Equitable/CRCA took eleventh and twelfth. The Women’s 1/2 competition went to Samantha Schneider of TIBCO. In Marlton at the 2010 New Jersey State Criterium Championships, Ryan Pettit of CC Evesham won the 1/2/3s. Complete results are here.

Laurent Fignon passes away from cancer yesterday. Everyone in the pro cycling community has something to say and are quoted directly and “Mr Cancer” Lance Armstrong sends a tweet. That’s mighty big of him….

MQ, you can’t install an earlier OS on a computer once a newer one has been installed, unless you reformat the drive using the original disks which came with it. Then (obviously) you would need to back up and re-install everything.

If you can’t figure out what I meant, maybe you should pull your face out of your iphone and take a look around at the world wide world. You don’t send a tweet about someone who has just passed away. Of course you do if you don’t want to talk to the media for some reason. Just sayin.
