The big weekend of Central Park weekend of racing has come and gone, with Rafael Meran of Mengoni winning Mengoni on Saturday, and Team Foundation winning Maltese Sunday. Gavi Epstein of Foundation and Tony Hall of Adler deserve special mention for spending most of both races off the front. Amaury Perez crossed the line first on Sunday for individual honors at Maltese.
Stacy Jensen of (correction, Radical Media) Kissena easily won the sprint for Mengoni, and Anneliese Haines of NYvelocity soloed in for Maltese.
Ramphy Zorrilla of Innovation Bike sprinted for the 3’s at Mengoni, John Nesbit won the junior race. At Maltese, George Mastrogiannis cashed in a carousel attack to take the 4’s, and Asa Pingree won the 5’s.
Full Mengoni results here, Maltese here.
Mark Light of Liberty Cycle took the main event at the Tour de Medford, full results here.
Sunday’s grimy conditions made for good photo ops. Here’s some of the muddy faces in duotone:

JOHNNNNN NESBIT
where is tegaderm sold?
Best team in NYC.
Tegaderm is ok but IMO the real stuff to get are the “Tough Pads” by Johnson and Johnson. There a little thicker and provide a little cushioning for when you inevitably rub your tender road rash up against another object. I’m pretty sure you can find it at any Duane Reade, Rite Aid, etc.
