The Tour "of" France has ended, but there’s also been bike racing right here in New York, and the racers wake up so early that it’s only fair that we mention their exploits here.
There’s no results posted from the CRCA points race, as the CRCA super computer is probably still tabulating the points, but I’m pretty sure Mike Margarite of AXA Equitable won the A race, or at least he deserved to because he’s rad.
At the Freedom Tour, Matthew Doran of Brauer/Mick Management won the masters 35-39 race, Anthony Taylor won the 45-49 masters race and Edwin Bull of Van Dessel won the cat 123 race, results are here.
At the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup in Prospect Park, Jared Bunde of Mengoni won the Pro/123 race, Peter Kocher of Ride Brooklyn won the 4 race, and Andrew Estevez of Innovation won the cat 5 race. If you want to see the full results just scroll down, they’re right here!

Anyone have pics?
It was your turn to take them.
Stacy Jensen of Radical Media won the women’s CRCA race.
i have tons. you look terrible in all of them.
Thats why the pics are important so I can better my form.
Stacy Jensen, next NYC rider to go Pro?
Luca: She is cool, but I hope you are basing that comment on a bunch of significant results. Club races are meaningless.
the CRCA C field lapped the women at about 15 miles. the women were barely moving. looked more like the 5 boro bike ride than a race. just sayin.
@11:57 “the women were barely moving.” That’s the point – a field gets neutralized when another is approaching.
i meant they were barely moving after we FINISHED. we were standing around at the S/F line, watching as they rolled by on their last lap – not when they were neutralized. slooooow.
