The weekend came and went without any fire from above or glorious ascensions skyward, so let’s get back to our normal routine by posting the glories of tightly clothed persons in public places.
At the CRCA race on Saturday, Greg Olsen of Jonathan Adler Racing won the A race in a late break. Kristin Lotitio of Houlihan-Lokey/Sanchez won the women’s race. Ryan McGarrity of Siggi’s/NYVelocity won the B race in a field sprint. John Blake of Foundation won the C race. Full results are here.
Thursday night’s FBF results aren’t posted but a little birdie (who knows how to email) told me that Ariel Mendez of Breakaway Couriers won the 1/2/3 race and Sam Salisbury, also of Breakaway won the 3/4 race.
The Tour de Syracuse results are going up, so check here for the final tallies.
The Tour de Parc results haven’t been posted yet, but I’m sure they’re forthcoming.
And finally, here’s the results from Saturday’s Race For the Wine.

Do tell what he did please? The CRCA website makes his DQ seem really interesting. I’ve long considered him to be not just a douche of the highest caliber but also a rude asshole. Can’t wait to hear what he did. Thanks
All I know is that it was preceded by a lot of yelling and screaming after the finish
The douche of the highest caliber is the the mangina who doesn’t sign his name. Taylor did fine work for the Club when he served on the board, what have you done for local cycling Mr Fork?
I thought the point of the internet was that you can call people douches anonymously…
I know that we cat5’s don’t get alot of props, but the race at Cedar Creek on Sunday was well ridden by eveyone and very fast.
Whoever that kid in from NYC Velocity on the black Specialized, he is strong and can lead out with power for a long time nice job. Back to your regular scheduled bashing.
You shall get nothing and like it. Your the cycling equivalent of a gold fish. Just swim around your little bowl for awhile and hope you don’t get eaten by a pirhanna like David Taylor.
Dude?!
“Dangerous rider, Abuse – disrespectful conduct, abusive language, physical assault”
It’s a CRCA club race. Take it easy.
Gee, in my experience, most of the best riders are basically good dudes, helpful and willing to serve the club, and even fun to hang out with here and there. Of course, when you get them on a bike, they turn into competitive monsters, which is the nature of the sport I think. So, maybe he was Mr. Douchey McDouche the other day at the race, but its to be expected, people! See, its all about expectations…
Where’s the David Taylor interview?
You guys are the equivalent of the Pvt. Pyle character in “Full Metal Jacket.”
tour de parc was fun, despite the bleak weather…nice to race without constantly watching the road surface too.
sorry
old insecure guys with a desperate need to win are a joke.

are there photos from tour de parc?
Mengoni did not ride a smart race. Ben woodbury in a 4 man break – 7 riders in the field. Never organized a chase. Why not?
Then he won’t be able to complain about it being “too easy” – or maybe he will???
To reinforce Mississippi river levees with all of his bags of sand. What is that, three CRCA races and three or four prospect park races in a row? Upgrade already so we can start complaining about the next sandbagger.
There were 3 Adler’s and 8 Mengoni’s in the field and Adler gets 2 of the top 5 places…hummm
Breakaway Courier is UNSTOPPABLE!!!!
WHERE ARE THE PHOTOS
when Adler rides a smart race.
Great shots, though the mix of two different years threw me off a bit.
Just so we’re clear, that break survived entirely because of Mengoni. It had nothing to do with Adler or ChampSys. Mengoni shut down an aggressive field only let their own teammates up the road.
Whether or not Ben Woodbury in a break with Tisza and Olsen is a good idea is a different question…

cool to see zoltan back in action
Mengoni is taking race strategy from Adler now
“rode a smart race” to Mengoni!
Don’t you know a combine when you see one? Champion System “home” race, Mengoni is sponsored by Champion…

victor, is possible to get some pictures from all the fields please thanks….
I will do my best to avoid showing photos of the same riders doing the same turn 10 times or more…..:)
Looks like DA took his sandbags to Italia!!

You guys need to punish DA appropriately for wearing his arm warmers on the wrong arms. Dan, surely he is mocking your kit design talents!
BH kit code section 12.3.
Arms warmers may be used as vehicles of personal expression.
Here are some shots from the women’s field. More would be uploaded.

…Breach. He’s living proof that NYC cycling is a very good thing: strong, active, modest, and a team player.
i don’t buy it. he could be a stellar guy for all i know, but the “one apple –> the whole bunch” thing only works for BAD apples.
unless…
jesus christ to mengoni?
there are lots of good apples…Brian definitely being one of them… ok a few dooshes but not that many.
actually some of the more interesting/least one-dimensional people i’ve met in my long time in NYC have been through the NYC racing scene.
Agreed – a strong man and he keeps that kit clean. But he needs a better name. Sounds like he is going backwards.
“Lance Armstrong” is a shining example. Something aggressive and manly. By the way, is anyone so dumb as to still think that is a real name? Just like Hulk Hogan or Randy Savage, right? And the moon landing happened – yeah, that was amazing!
Jeff Cline to the list of class act/good apples… he’s a super-fast mofo as well.
David Anthony to Sexo Bank.
Shots are finally uploaded for all the fields. Here is the link to the entire galleries. More remaining photos will be uploaded within a day or two.
http://www.oneimagingphotography.com/Cyclings/Tour-de-Parc-5222011 I hope I have captured you if not in one field but in the others, since many of you were racing multiple fields that day…
