Hangover 3/26/2007

Section head text.

We have former pros popping up all over the parks these days. Dr. J wins the CRCA club race, and Joao Correia wins at Prospect. Wiswell (who is so very pro) wins at Branch Brook. Some Hacker (pro status unknown) wins at Bethel.

Sarah Sauvayre has a knack for winning races.

Oh, and I totally called MSR. Sometimes it is a burden to rock so hard…

my wife grew up in a poor rural area in a developing country

and when she started her current job, on a nice corporate campus in New Jersey, she saw a lot of geese outside.

So she called me from work and asked "How can I get a gun?"

not specific to this weekend

But I expect Champion System (the company) to have trademark problems with Champion (the Hanes subsidiary). Unless they’ve already reached some sort of agreement.

get the flock out...

central park just acquired two border collies to control it’s geese population. those lazy, lazy geese. not unlike the 3/4’s that didn’t want to work to bring that break back in on sunday.
we just need to sick some snapping "lassies" on the field to up the tempo…
the look didn’t seem to work

Branchbrook is flat, flat, flat. Except for a short big ring ramp that lasts about 300 meters leading to the turn around. Always windy.

Great racing

Ex and aspiring pros in the local races is great and I hope that I can improve quickly enough so that I can also race in those races before age catch up with me. Even the B race in CP was fast and loaded with action all the way. Many break attempts and generally a fast pace. Being part of this is great and even though one’s chances of winning or even placing is reduced significantly, it still is great. Junior world champ for crying out loud. Paris, now that is hot!

as hangovers go this kinda blows, 11 posts and nobody has said anything about Adler riding a smart race and no griping about sandbagging.
