Oh, by the way, when I fist saw Jim LeHane’s comment it was posted three times exactly the same. Obviously a mistake. My responce to Jim’s posting was an attempt at humor. The extra two postings have been removed so now when you read my responce I sound like an asshole… Which I try not to be…
!)Gearing, (2) Chess match & (3)will to win.. Great interview Jamie
As we have often discussed The ability to”Spin” for a kilo is someting that reqiures natural ability, the courage NOT to geaqr up and lots of practice. We also have learned that to win races you have think way ahead (like in chess). You forgot to mention why you won when you were outgunned .. You Wanted to Win.
Hi I!!!! You are too kind.
I love this quote
but often very astute at the chess match aspect of it all. Today it seems like half of these guys are triathletes. All they know is how to put their head down and hammer. To me that shit is boring.
That is a great quote. Very funny and very true
Anyone catch the Napoleon Dynamite ref?
he has skillz
Great story! Thanks for taking the time to do it and post. Fun to read about the sport during years when I was totally oblivious to its existance.
Sorry about the hook, Jamie. Great interview.
Hey Lehane!!! I was over it by the time I crossed the line. I think its time for you to let it go too…
Jamie Swan was/is the best traditional wheel builder in the Northeast! Alan Greco would not let anyone but Jamie build Jessica’s wheels when she was the multi time National Women’s Champion. When the “Mengoni” team was re-started, Jamie was our first Team Mechanic. Jamie is an excellent mechanic and all around GOOD GUY.
