Hangover April 13, 2015

Intern Josh is away this week, riding one-speed bikes in ovoid circles in a foreign land, so it’s a vintage Hangover this week. I know you just want to scan for names you recognize, so I will get right to the winning.

At the CRCA Club Race on Saturday, Jayson Jacobs of The Weather Channel Giant Cycling Team won the A race. Kristin Lotitio of Houlihan Lokey won the women’s race. #489 – not in roster won the B race (way to go NIR) and Gene Wilson of Foundation won the C race. Results are here.

See how I did that, Josh? The highest categories goes first—that’s the NYVC Hangover Standard—is that so goddam hard?!

Meanwhile at the Cherry Blossom Challenge, John Durso of High Gear/Trek VW won the 1/2/3 race. Masha Schneider of Zimmer Capital Orthopedics won the women’s 1/2/3 race. Donovan Clarke of Health Warrior p/b RK&O wonthe cat 3/4 race. Breigh Chadwick of Action Wheels Bike Shop won the women’s cat 4 race. Horace Burrowes of We Stand United (W.S.) won the 35+ race. Thomas Godfrey of NCVC/UnitedHealthcare won the 45+ race. Edward Troianello of High Gear/Trek/WW won the 55+ race. Oleg Bekkerman won the cat 5 races. Results are here.

At the super easy to type and remember 2015 Circuit de Walnut Hill, Aetna Nutmeg Spring Series, Sam Rosenholtz of GREEN LINE VELO driven by Zipcar won the pro/1/2/3 race. Cassandra Maximenko of Stans Notubes p/b Veloclassic Cycling won the women’s pro/1/2/3/4 race. Akira Sato of the Aetna-Expo Wheelmen won the cat 3/4 race. Todd Bowden of the Aetna-Expo Wheelmen won the 45+ race. Patrick Torpey of Foundation won the cat 4 race. Orlando Manriquez of Zaachilayoo won the cat 5 race. Thomas Evelein of CT Cycling Advancement Program won the juniors race. Results are here.

Neither the Lucarelli & Castaldi 6 Days of Kissena or the Trooper David Brinkerhoff results are in, so I don’t have to do jack for those races, so that’s pretty cool.

Potential correction – I believe Colin Keaveney won CRCA B race, not that Alex doesn’t appreciate the shout out.

This new site format blows. Impossible to intuitively navigate for mere common folk. I hate this style, which unfortunately seems to have gripped the balls of web designers everywhere.

j-bro

this site needs more hate like this! Also, impossible navigation, crowded pages, hundreds of categories and lots of flashing ads are required. Who can I complain to???
