Thanks, Dieter Drake Interim President NYSBRA www.nysbra.info Announcement of 2009 New York State Bicycle Racing Association Annual Meeting —————————————————————————————————————— The New York State Bicycle Racing Association (hereby referred to as “NYSBRA”) will be holding its annual meeting on Saturday, January 17th at 12:00pm at the Vestal Library in Vestal, NY, just west of Binghamton. All current USA Cycling members from the state of New York are invited to attend and participate in this year’s meeting. The meeting will serve at least 2 purposes; to elect a Board of Directors for NYSBRA and to address any topics that the Board or the membership wish to discuss. The NYSBRA Board of Directors consists of the President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer (known as the Officers), as well as Rider Representatives of each of the 6 regions of New York State as defined by the Empire State Games. Nominations for board positions may be directed to the NYSBRA Secretary Alan Atwood at alan_atwood@hotmail.com up to Friday, December 19th, 2008. Online voting for nominated members will take place from Monday, December 22nd, 2008 until Wednesday, January 14th, 2009 at a location to be announced in a later communication. Afterwards the votes will be tabulated and announced at the annual meeting. Discussion point requests may be given to the NYSBRA Secretary Alan Atwood at alan_atwood@hotmail.com up until 15 days before the date of the meeting, or January 2, 2009.
