The Kissena Cycling Club Presents

NIGHT OF THE ROLLER ZOMBIES

Roller racing @ Union Pool, Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Wednesday, February 28 7:30-10pm

Experience the madness! If you want to be in this movie, bring your bike and be prepared to spin your brains out. If you would prefer to watch the madness, come to the bar and grab a beer with friends and fellow voyeurs. It’s only a normal night in Williamsburg, a night where the Zombies won’t bite.

Racers, climb aboard Bike Works’ Barelli Quadrulet Competition Rollers with Dial Face and spin until you throw a rod out on these extremely low-resistance rollers. There will be 500m seeding heats and 1km elimination rounds until only the fastest legs left standing? Entry fee is $10. USCF license mandatory (one-day licenses available on premises). Warm-up begins at 7pm. Prizes TBD. Day-of registration only.

Not ready to face going as fast as your legs can move? Cheer on these spinning zombies. Bring friends. Cover charge is $10 at the door. Come early, happy hour extends ’til 8, but after that, PBR is only $3.

Continuing a short-running feud Bike Works will take on NY Velocity in the evening’s half-time Grudge Match.

Union Pool is located at 484 Union Avenue on the corner of Union & Meeker, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. It is two short blocks north of the Lorimer L stop and one block off the Metropolitan exit of the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Union Pool – 484 Union Ave. – Brooklyn, NY – 11211

Good luck to all. I can’t make it tonight. Gui, we will meet again. Take it easy on my NY friends. Save it for me. If we could have a grudge match later in the night I would make it. But to get there for the begining of the race would be very tuff. Good luck to all.
