Hear ye, hear ye! I am writing you to let you know that the Hopeful Friday is late and you can all fwd complaints to Dan Schmalz if you don’t like it. He loves complaints, especially ones from spurned promoters who don’t like the new rules that I declared at the beginning of the year. Feel free to drop by his house, it’s really a lovely old farm house in NJ with a boarded up but working well in the front. Tea is usually served mid afternoon on the porch and yelling at drivers who are tearing through the neighborhood in their “hot rods” or kids who seem to be up to no good is encouraged and expected.
On Sat, there is a CRCA club race with a Met finish. In PP, there is the R&A Cycles Series. Out in NJ, you can race the The Jersey Devil Presented by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management of Princeton, which is in Montgomery, not Princeton, but as anyone who grew up in that area knows people be claimin “Princeton” when you live 10 f$*%in miles away. If you are in the mood for pain, you can head to Iron Hill Twilight Criterium.
On Sun, there is the MANGOSEED RESTAURANT – W.S. UNITED’S GRAVEYARD SERIES @ FLOYD BENNETT FIELD which still feels like a mouthful for a FBF race, but considering the sponsor it makes sense (PS, Mangoseed is excellent and worth taking the trip to for dinner). Also Sun is the Tokeneke Classic Road Race 2015.
So I’m stuck complaining to myself?
Good to see that Mr. Juan A. Suarez of “ugly capo kit racing team” and “i will use the rec lane to blatantly advance my position before the sprint at Dave Jordan” fame managed to find his way into the B field at this mornings club race despite having no affiliation with CRCA.
Sadly I forgot to mention this before I left the park.
This dude’s got some big balls, I’ll give him that.
