NYCMTB have built an amazing trail IN MANHATTAN! Highbridge park opens Saturday the 19th, and there’s a race the day after. Lots more pictures of the trails here.
I didn’t bring a trail map so I missed the hardest part of the trail, but the part I rode was plenty technical and beautifully groomed. There’s even a jump park with a pump track! Having a real MTB trail we can ride to in Manhattan has got to be the coolest thing ever.

I’ll be there Sat and Sun with Vicious Cycles and NYC Velo. We’ll have a few demo bikes. Bring pedals and shoes. Should be pretty fun.
