On Sat in PP at the Lucareli & Castaldi Cup, Augusto Sanchez of GS Mengoni won the P/1/2/3 race, Jun Sugai of Chari & Co won the 4 race and Daniel Perez won the 5 race. Full results here. Also on Sat, Orchard Beach happened. Norlandy Taveras of CRCA/Foundation won the M P/1/2/3 race, LvG won the W P/1/2/3 race, Donovan Clarke of CRCA/Health Warrior won the M 2/3 race, Aaron Mangum of CRCA/FGX won the M 3/4 race, Lucie Vagnerova of CRCA/Rockstar Games continued to carry around her bags of sand and won the W 3/4 race, David Hall of The Fifth Flr NYC won the M 4 race, Turner Ramsey of KMS Cycling won the W 4 race, Julius Erwin Quito of CRCA/David Jordan Racing won the M 4/5 race, Yves Allemann of Pink Rhino Racing won the M 5 race, Kaan Sarci of CRCA Juniors won the Juniors race, and finally Wilson Vasquez of CRCA/Lupus Racing Team won the M 40+ race. On Sun at the Bear Mountain Spring Classic, Scott Zwizanski denied Mike Margarite a back to back win (a little retribution for being chased down in that crit last year, perhaps?) and the CRCA/Weather Channel man had to settle for 3rd in the M P/1/2 race. Cassandra Maximenko of CRCA/Stans No Tubes won the W P/1/2 race, smashing LvG’s chance at a perfect weekend in the omnium. Other notable results were Chris Young of Bold Racing in 2nd in the M2 race, Ayesha Mcgowan of Ride Brooklyn won the W3 race, Erica Adelberg of CRCA/Radical Media was 3rd in the W35+ race, Alex Cernichiari of CRCA/Rapha Racing was 3rd in the M4 race, Kathryn Cumming of Team Yacht Club won the W4 race, Steven Van Der Zwan of CRCA/FGX won the M4/5 race and Fredrik Berselius of CRCA/Rapha Racing won the M5 race.
