A New Charitable Organization Dedicated to Combat Childhood Obesity.

Anthem Sports is pleased to announce the formation of the not-for-profit organization, Cycle for Health, which is dedicated to encourage healthy living platforms for children, their families and communities by promoting recreational and competitive bicycling for youth.
The goals of the organization are:
To provide structure and support for community bicycling programs and the closely related need for proper nutrition in the national fight against childhood obesity and weight related illnesses such as diabetes.
To launch the organization formally, Cycle for Health will be hosting its first annual gala on Friday, November 19th, 2010 with special guest, Greg Lemond – three time winner of the Tour de France. The gala will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion, 123 West 18th Street in New York City. Reservations are available at <bikereg.com> and <cycleforhealth.org>.
