GET YOUR TICKETS!: END OF THE SEASON CRCA PARTY

Course Description:

Come celebrate the end of the racing season and the start of the holiday season at CRCA’s annual Season-End party to be held from 7:30 to 10 on December 6th at Slane (http://www.slanenyc.com/). For $16, you can enjoy unlimited appetizers (mini burgers, poached salmon, bruschetta, something for everyone!), a live band (starting at 9), raffle prizes (including a Beth Renaud massage, dinosaur membership, DVDs and more), the annual trophy hand-off and a chance to mingle with your fellow racers sans kits and bike gear.

Start time:

December 6th (7:30-10)

Start/Finish Line:

Slane (102 MacDougal Street,

between Bleecker and West 3rd Street)

Entry fee:

$16 in advance (go to BikeReg http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=4019

until December 4th; or make checks payable to CRCA and send to Elena Leznik, 60 Haven Avenue, Apt 22A, New York, NY 10032; for advance tickets checks must be received by December 2nd);

or $20 at the door.

Closest subway stops:

A,C,E to West 4th or 6 to Bleecker (or you can always bike, just make sure you travel in groups of 9 or less!)

Check helmets and coats at the door.

The 2006 Season-End party will not be held in accordance with USCF rules.

No upgrade points will be awarded.

Who are the faves for awards? I’d say Zmolik for rider of the year.

Can someone advise on top female sprinters, most improved, newcomer.

I’d like to see an additional category in the future for “most versatile” which would cover other disciplines – road, track, cross, and possibly mountain bike.
