Since we are starting so early this year and I won’t be back until the 14th for TTown’s opener, I need volunteers to help me fix cracks and various issues in repair around the ktown track.

If anyone has some time I would appreciate it.

I’d say on or before the 21st so just after workouts that day the track will be shut down for repairs for the rest of that day.

Cheers the cat.

You shall ask, I shall answer!! :-)…………..

We will be having 3 men’s fields on Wednesday nights; the A group will be cat1-3 with 4’s eligible by my allowance only. The B field will be cat 4/5, and the C field will be cat 5 only. Cat 5 riders will be encouraged to ride in the C race unless they have ridden at the track before and can demonstrate that they can ride safely and be competitive.

What I’m hoping this will do is allow me to upgrade 4’s to 3’s so Kissena riders won’t have to go to T-Town if they can’t. I still have to talk to Ray Ignosh, who is doing the upgrades this year at T-Town, to make sure this is OK with him.

Each group will run 2 races and there will be 2 features (a la T-Town). The B feature will be for B riders and C riders who get top 3 in the omnium. The A feature will be for A riders and B riders who get top 3 in the omnium. Masters class will continue in ’07 with them picking their own feature. Women will have their own race and be eligible to ride either feature.

Any questions drop me a line at alan_atwood@hotmail.com.

I think what Sam was hoping for and a lot of the other riders is to
split the fields by Category so that we can earn upgrade points at
Kissena instead of having to travel 2 hours to T-Town. The B Field
during the Twilight Series ending up being more challenging than
Cat. 4 field at T-Town anyway so we may as well get credit for our
efforts if we finish top 4.

Joe will have instructive classes and so will I for your particular schedule times. If anyone is free on Saturdays come on by Children 9am to 11am, beginers class starts at 11am and elite at 3pm. The splitting of field will be done for safety altought we have a time limit on sunlight early and late in the 18 race schedule season for night racing. Can anyone get us a roof and lights? I’m riding the 250wood in LA right now with 70 other riders – all cat’s – three times a week at top speed. No falls, no bumps, – go figure… Can’t wait to get to ktown and start this party. best cat

Sam, thanks for the question. Alan should respond regarding Wednesday nights.
For the April 15th and April 22nd races, I’ll be splitting the B field into groups. But, I’m going to wait until race day to decide how I’m going to do it. The race schedule for April 14th is on Bikereg.com.

Any clue how the wed. nights will be run this year? Will there be a c or a cat 5 class?
Hopefully Alan Atwood reads this so we can get the straight scoop. THere has been a lot of talk about how the feilds will be split this year.
only a few weeks to go, can hardly wait!
