Section head text.
Perhaps ‘jaded’ is not the best attitude to take to a trade show. After I got home I realized that I had a completely random sampling of stuff from the show. So here’s some shots of road bike stuff, I have no idea why these bikes made it and others didn’t.
Schmalz in parentheses.
The Seven looks like sone kind of1930’s Raymond Loewy design.
No love or hate for the Cyfac? Schmalz must not like the paint wrap, but looks pretty sweet to me.
i don’t understand the comment about the cervelo
Seven is lame but lovin the Cyfac. Hollow cassetes are the coolest.
a
relaxed angles, upright posture…
The new Absolu is very, very nice.
That seven is no Hillman Minx…
Masis are for Cutters!
at first glance i though it had fat solid wheelchair tires…
I rode the Litespeed Archon. It’s very nice. The ugly wrap tubes must be working.
SRAM Red, just like Force and Rival, is a very simple system. That’s why it is so light and will probably work well for a long time. If you carefully look at the cutaway model in action you can see how it works.
is rediculous. None of these bikes would hold up after 2 years of hard racing. Very nice but not practical unless you have an unlimited budget.
Any pics of the Blue Competition Frames?
No hate for the over-branding on the Parlee? Most offensive thing I’ve seen this year…
Hands down has got to be that Ridley. Very doooope. Even the paint scheme rocked. must have it! must have it!
For an $1800 frame that bike is dope. Plus if you go to there site they offer up to 50% off ($900) as a team sponsor.
Sweet!

Very pro. Very cool.
BikeNut in San Francisco has a Storck (with Record, Tune brakes, carbon wheels with flat carbon spokes etc.) that they claim weighs 12 pounds and costs $18,000. Could that be the one? or were they just trying to get me out of the store?
How about Marion Jones? Adamantly denies taking drugs, defiantly accuses her accusers, and now – admits it!!!!
Can we see a pattern here?
…that beautiful orange masi…
…”when’s this frame going to be available ?”
…ah, 39 years ago !…
