UK race experience blog

Section head text.

This is my first blog post and a loose table of contents of what is to come. Two weeks ago I moved to london for about 6 months (new job). I brought a bike and, although i’ve been rejected from my 1st UK race for not having a british license, i plan to race the rest of the season out here. I’ve applied for the license and hope to win some races in my NYVelocity colours.

Here are some posts that i’ll write over the next few months:

1) Review of the Science In Sport (SiS) Go energy and recovery drinks. I had read about these in the USA but you can’t find it anywhere. You can get it in any bike shop here and i plan on a full review.

2) Comparison of UK cat 4 racing with US cat 4 racing. You’ll read about my experiences getting dropped in the US and abroad!

3) Commuting to work in the London versus NYC. That’s right, if I can survive biking on the other side of the street and all of the narrow streets, then you will read about it!

4) Local London rides: Richmond park, Regent’s park, where do the locals train?

5) Review of the bike case I used for my flights.

So stay tuned…
