This is a special hangover and one I am so happy to write and that joy has nothing to do with some race in Greenwich, NY. It’s the NYVelocity 4/20 hangover edition! It’s a glorious day for some, with much cause for celebration and elation to super high levels. Throughout today’s post, there will be links to be clicked on that may or may not take you to some fantastic places, be sure to follow.
On Sat here in NYC at the CRCA race, Allan Rego of Lupus won the A field, Martha Bush of Houlihan Lokey won the W field, Michael Straw of Lucarelli and Castaldi won the B field, Sean McCormick won the C field and Justin Inglis won the 40+. Full results can be found here. Also in NYC but in the park of ill repute, Matt Seaton of CRCA/Rapha Racing wrote himself into the results of the 40+ race and won by almost a minute on the field, Kristin Lotito of CRCA/Houlihan Lokey won the W race and Daniel Perez won the cat 5 race. Full results here.
And now, for some half baked results from some race called “B*&$kill” or something. This is due to the fact that Dieter has included more cat 5 fields than Dan has excuses for missing a break and also to my extreme laziness. On Sat, in the W3/4 race, Cheryl Clark of Team Velo 5 continued to show dominance by winning the race with a margin of 20 mins to second place, which was Hannah Todd of CRCA/Stan’s NoTubes p/b Velo Classic Cycling. She also managed to beat the W1/2 winning time by 10 mins. Jaime Soper of CRCA/Rockstar Games won the W4 race. Michael “Ze German” Kuehn of CRCA/FGX Racing won the M4A 40+ race with a fantastic solo effort in the final 18 miles. Tim Willis of CRCA/KH-Pactimo was 3rd in the M4C race. Alex Cernichiari of CRCA/Rapha Cycling won the M4D race. Pablo Kohan won the M5A-U35 race, Andy Bennett of CRCA/Lucarelli and Castaldi was 2nd in the M5C-35+ race and Shawn Horn won the M5D-35+ race. Daniel Triller of CRCA/E2Value won the M5E-35+ race. The full results can be found here.
On Sunday up at B*&$kill, Allan Rego of CRCA/Lupus Racing came in an extremely respectable 5th in the P/1 with Mike Margarite of CRCA/Weather Channel coming in 7th. Erin Korff of CRCA/Axis won the M45+ and Mr. Sarah Chubb Sauvayre (aka, Pascal) of CRCA/Rockstar Games won the M55+. Full results listed here.
