Anticipating an uptick in cyclists over the Labor Day weekend, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police stepped up enforcement of bicycle violations Saturday morning. Raced Basking Ridge last year in the rain. That was a fun race, but lots of carnage.
Looks like rain again for this year – stay safe out there and be mindful of corner 1 especially. Coming out of the downhill with some speed, that corner (painted cobbles and a few manhole covers) can be pretty slippery.
I raced Baskin Robbins last weekend. It was pretty cool.
31 riders showed up, all varieties.
