Anticipating an uptick in cyclists over the Labor Day weekend, Palisades Interstate Parkway Police stepped up enforcement of bicycle violations Saturday morning. Over the course of about four hours, police issued 33 summonses, the majority for speeding, not wearing a helmet or biking through the red light at Alpine Approach Road.
Thanks homeslice. No rain this year, I hear, but some wet spots.

Raced Basking Ridge last year in the rain. That was a fun race, but lots of carnage.
Looks like rain again for this year – stay safe out there and be mindful of corner 1 especially. Coming out of the downhill with some speed, that corner (painted cobbles and a few manhole covers) can be pretty slippery.

I raced Baskin Robbins last weekend. It was pretty cool.
Matty McNatty { Imagine if circa 2010 Netflix could have done one of these docudramas on the CRCA scene in those days? Greg Olsen, Colin Prensky, and that... }
{ Great Stuff Dan!!! }
pommespommes { Glad your back to blogging. I wish there was more race reporting/news in the NYC area (other than f*cebook) from both 1st and 3rd person.... }
{ You “gifted” the field the first race of the year. Eddy isn’t pleased. }
Benzina { Schmalz is back. Life is better, somehow. }
schmalz { There's no dignity in amateur bike racing }
