This morning New York City played host to the First Annual DAVE JORDAN CENTRAL PARK CLASSIC. The race honored an icon  and celebrated the joy he brought to cycling here in the city. Dave’s tireless coaching was remembered and the many riders who turned out for the event reminisced on their favorite "D.J.isms". The race focused on some hard as well as heartfelt riding. Dave’s life on two wheels will always play a large part on the cyclists who knew him. His opinions were legendary and never held back. His lessons continue to shape the scene today with his expert training of young riders who remember him best on the course.
