Clothed up

It was a quasi-busy weekend of racing, but with big stakes on the line—there was clothing on offer—so let’s get into the results.

At the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Race inProspect Park, Augusto Sanchez of GS Mengoni won the pro/1/2/3 race. David Gardiner of Kissena won the cat 4 race. Carl Calderon won the cat 5 race. Results are here.

Up at Pawling, state champion clothing was distributed, there’s no results posted yet, but I do know that Matt Seaton of Rapha is your 45+ New York state road race champ pin and Michael Boardman of BH/Comedy Central is your 35+ state champion. Link will be posted when available.

Clothing

Help I am addicted to Bike Nashbar, they have so much stuff on offer, clothing, wheels, tires, helmets at such un-reasonable prices. An illusion of 50% off on wheels at a price of $1,200 down from $2,400, hmmm I will skip this month’s rent and buy a pair of these Cosmic Carboners, I am getting a hardon just thinking about these wheels. $249 for a bib shorts, yes I can buy those in lieu of groceries this week, in any case I need to get my body fat down so starving should help. How about that $400 Garmin down from $800, I really need that to tell me how much I suck. Please somebody put me out of my misery, I need a fix.

Ha, I selectively remembered being 5mins off the pace. 7mins is more like it. Great race, will be back next year for sure.
