am trying to get a good answer about why people hate Kissenas.
seems like people dislike one of their top riders and face of the club from comments on this site, but I’m not sure why as whenever I run into him riding in Central Park he’s always quite friendly and pleasant.
probably because kissena is a “normal” usac club and not burdened with the sillyness of crca, like having to marshal in central park at 5 am in february.

no one hates kissenas. it’s just CRCAssociates giving our little brother a noogie, because as scrawny lycra-clad roadies we don’t have a whole lot of other targets we can pick on.
hating a kissena would be like hating a houseplant.
If Kissena is the ficus of houseplants, what does that make Adler?

Why do people like subteams, or think Kissena should have them? I understand it was a way for CRCA club races to not be every man/woman for him/herself, and allow riders to learn team tactics in the races.
Kissena doesn’t have club races, they run open races where Kissena races like any other team. What is the point of a sub-team when we don’t run club races like CRCA.
