time to start “policing” ourselves before the mob starts running us down for simply being on a bike for any reason. and then, back it up with support for local community leadership that applies rules consistently for pedestrians, cyclists and cars…

I’m good at ‘policing’ myself. If I’m going to have to ‘police’ other riders, I’ll need to need to carry around a baseball bat. A carbon fiber one naturally…
I think what really needs to happen is that the real police actually need to enforce one way travel and right of way rules and let cyclists treat red lights as a stop sign like the law in Milwaukee. It’s not that complicated.

On my way to work. DOT truck parked in bike lane. Just sitting inside, drinking coffee. No work going on nearby. Really?! Isn’t the DOT the ones who put the bike lane in?
