Off-Topic for 09/29/2010 – 02:00

Welcome to the Tue, 09/29/2010 – 02:00 edition of Off Topic! You are looking at the next step in the evolution of VCN, the Off-Topic page. Have you ever been frustrated because you had a burning desire to call someone a sandbagger and could only hope to be timely by posting your comment to a photo gallery page or on a page describing a charity ride?

Well, your prayers have been answered! You can post your comment from the home page and it magically comes to rest here with the other orphans from the land of Misfit Comments. The page gets refreshed every day, but not to worry! Each day’s page will be archived and treasured, so you can look back on past pages with pride, shame or disgust-depending on how the day’s conversation went. So post away! We’ve got an internet to fill up.

I suspect it was a bad cup of water during the rest stage.

It almost reeks of Lancetribution. I don’t think Contador is a saint yet it is a good strategy to show that doping is still happening as a sideshow to distract the hounds.

> Lim refused to confirm he will appear in front of a grand jury appearance, but told ESPN.com: “I am cooperating with the federal investigation and look forward to setting the record straight. When I worked with Floyd, I repeatedly told him that he didn’t need to dope and should not dope, and I was absolutely not hired to help him to do so. Since then, I’ve spent my career promoting clean sport and keeping innumerable athletes from cheating, as well as assisting in catching those who are.”

Notice he no longer claims he didn’t know about Floyd’s doping, and he doesn’t say he didn’t help him dope, he just says he wasn’t hired for that reason.
