i am an old-timer, and even im hugely in favor of electronic shifting. what % of the season is your bike in the “shift down 2x, shift up once” to go down 1 gear? cant wait till 5 years from now when it’ll be cost effective for me. the technology is not new – coudlve been done 10+ years ago. but having a retail market who will pay top $ for it? awesome. i LOVE the dudes paying full px for it now – without them, the rest of us will never get the chance to own – thanks!

don’t get me wrong I like the idea of electronic shifting and have heard that di2 works great. Just doesn’t make you one bit faster & the price of it is ridiculous at the moment. In a couple of years it will be ubiquitous but right now it’s like buying the first gen iphone for $600 the week before they dropped the price to $200.

Lisbon and Alejandro were at Speedweek all last week. Lisbon had a few top 10’s and ended the week as the highest ranked non-pro.
