There’s a lot of results to go through this Monday, as a lot of you decided to get out and race bikes in many manners and locations, which forces me to do my “job” and report on them, so let’s have at it.
At the CRCA Alpine HIll Climb, Brian Gabele of Luzzo’s clocked the best time with a 4:56, followed closely by Chris Chaput of Adler. Ellen Moses of Comedy Central was the fastest woman. Haluk Sarci of Sotheby’s was the 40+ winner. Al Blanchard of Westwood was tops in the 50+. Brian Dobes of Westwood took the cat 4 race, and Ryan Johnson was first in the cat 5s. Christophe Jammet beat Andy Shen by one second in the race for spite. Results are here.
The Criterium New York went as planned at FBF and we have pictures, but no definitive results yet.
At the Tour de Syracuse, there were many races and many notable results, including: Jeffrey Ingraham of Sanchez Houlihan-Lokey winning the cat 4 Crit, Bill Golembieski of the CRCA Junior Development Team winning the Junior crit, Benjamin Salibra of the CRCA Junior Development Team won the junior road race, Jeffrey Ingraham also won the cat 4 time trial, Xieyue Fan of Sanchez Houlihan-Lokey won the women’s cat 4 time trial, Bill Golembieski also won his time trial.
In the overall omnium, Jeffrey Ingraham won the cat 4 race and Bill Golembieski won the junior race. 60 pages of pdf-ed results for the race can be found here.
At Wilmington, a lot of pros raced, with Zach Bell of Kelly Benefit Strategies taking the win, results are here.
Which just brings us to Sunday. At the Tour de Parc Crit, Shane Kline of Kelly Benefit Strategies won the pro/1-2 race. Tadeusz Marszalek of Sommerville Sports won the cat 3 race. Karl Nelson of EECT/Kreb Cycle won the cat 4 race. Alan Buday of Global Locate won the masters 40+ race. Evelyn Stevens of Radical Media won the women’s race, and Willie Nicholas won the cat 5 race. Results are here.
At the Jersey Shore Time Trial, David Freifelder of Westwood Velo won the senior mens race, full results are here.
BikeJam and HH haven’t posted their results yet, and I have to say I am a little relieved, as I am at the end of my typing allowance for the day.
Hope to see more CRCA represented in teh future!

There’s talk of trying to revive KSR for 2010….not sure how that would work with GMSR.
Captcha is green….:)
Strong work! Proud of you…
GMSR = Green Mountain Stage Race
KSR = WTF? Stage Race
KSR = Killington Stage Race
You must be a noob.
working its way throught the Killington Board of Selectmen/Chamber of Commerce…the thought is to hold this race over Memorial Day Weekend.
I still want that race back. GW to Spoon (plus you gotta eat 1 muffin) then Gimbels. 2 day event!

recap
FOGGY Rainly 45 lap race….From lap 2 Dioslaki went head to head with 20 yr old pro Jackie Simes. After dropping (in short order) their Mengoni breakaway 3rd guy David, Simes & Dioslaki HAAAMMERED, lapping the field until 3 laps to go when the 2 almost caught the field for a 2nd time.
Jackie managed to shake Stepahn at that point joining & immediately attacking the field for the win. So ultimately Jacki lapped the field twice. Steve continued on but just missed lapping the field for the 2nd time and got a well deserved and Impressive 2nd place on the day…
What an excellent performance and way to finish up being a 4 (Jeff mentioned he’s applying for an upgrade, which looks likely to me)! If it were not for 2 guys getting away at the end of the road race, Jeff could well have won all three events, and his TT time (on a new bike) was better than the cat. 3 field. Well done!
Alistair Siebert won cat1 30-39 at the H2H MT Bike race
david carr, i’ve got your heartstrap from the bear mountain bathroom. i’m holding it hostage until you tone it down.
place is full of them…
how about pages you can only access and post by signing in/on???
wheelsucker, sandbagger, doper, curious, bacon-eater, discuss…
So KSR would be this weekend? or did you mean Labor Day?
If you read below, the comment is that KSR may be back in 2010 and that they’re looking to see if it fits in on Memorial Day.
Memorial Day Weekend has competing crit events, including Somerville. I suppose it depends in part on whether KSR needs to be a NRC event to be “successful.” I’m sure the Killington Chamber of Commerce only cares about the number of attendees, not whether they get pros there or not.
Captcha = green.. Again! 🙂 What’s with that alogorithm?!
dude there is no algorithm, it is a monkey in a cage with a 2 twelve sided dice, from Shen’s D&D days.
um, yes. a joking comment…ok. catch up off the back, will ya?
