Team kit in class is DORKEY. Big time. Who are you showing off for? Most other spinners think you just look dorkey, so thats what matters. Team bib shorts are ok since you need to wear shorts anyway and I dont even have non team stuff anymore, but get a plain black or white shirt and wear that on top. Nice and understated, which always is better.

you want the long sleeved skinsuit. when it gets thoroughly sweated through from working indoors, it clings better than a baggy jersey. you heard it here first, skinsuits will be the new rage. we can call them ‘spinsuits.’ or maybe spinskins.

yeah, wearing your race kit in …SPIN CLASS… is dorky. you should definitely buy a separate, spin-class-only jersey and thus avoid being a dork. in spin class.

Wear your gear, you do in training on the road?!?! Shaved arm and legs as well, cut off the sleeves on old kit, and for really OTT look, only your bibs or maybe sleeveless wicking base layer. No cotton…
But, seriously, be careful riding with cycling shoes and pedals as those cranks/BB spindles are made from butter and almost all are bent/twisted…mtn shoe in toe clips (slightly loose) is best…
take in your best measurements from your training bike to set up as close as possible to your saddle height and setback, and bar height and reach (relative to your favorite levers or drops road position…
And get up there front and center, so you get a good view in the mirror of yourself and all the low cut sports bras “sprinting aero”…or in the back where all the best spit/cough/farts are to be had!
If you are new to spinning, be careful going hard at first as the heat and humidity will kock you out…Mark Maljidanian (sp?) where are you?

I wore my skin suit in spin class last night. After class everyone – and I mean everyone, even the instructor – came up to me and told me how cool my spinsuit was and asked where to get one. I think the trend has started. Thanks guys!

Everytime I wear my skinsuit to spin class I get lots of compliments about my endurance. The class got very friendly and some guys even asked me to join them in the steamroom. It’s a funny gym … everyone was dropping their soap in the shower.

Well, thanks for picking up my soap. Also, sorry about the scene in the steamroom – really, I didn’t realize my towel had slipped off.
