My course is comprised of a 10 mile loop that encompasses the three villages of Sprague (Baltic, Hanover and Versailles) the majority of the course is on Rte. 97 and parrallels the beautiful Shetuckett River. The course is a combination of rolling terrain as well as beautiful country roads, with one major climb of a 1/4 mile. Most of the road surface is good to excellant, for more information you can go onto www.mapmyride.com/ride/united-states/ct/baltic/1056738015.
I apologize for such a late posting, but it wasn’t until just recently that I was made aware of your site by a gentlemen who has ridden our course and informed me of this great site, thanks again Rob. We hope to see you there!!!!
For those looking for a change from Prospect and other local races I raced both races as part of the Mohegan Sun race weekend and found them to be well run and both are good courses.
The Three Village RR is a nice scenic 10 mile loop that goess through three different towns. It has a pretty steep 1/2mi to 3/4mi climb perfect for attacking and breaking up a field. The finish is on flat run out..
The Downtown Norwich Crit… Is fast and fun with each lap taking only 90seconds or so.. Its safer then other courses with only 2 real corners and one is the start of a short climb.
