Damage done at the Highbridge race is starting to appear. Bruises everywhere. Shins scabbing up. The major pain is my right knee, which apparently took a big hit even though I had hard shell knee pads on, and the middle of my back which isn’t bruised but very sore to the touch and to stretch. If my elbow felt like that I would suspect a chip.
Took the TT bike out to work for some endurance riding. The new bars are great. Overall I’m lower wih my back flat. I feel a bit stretched out though. May need to adjust the seat position.
My new thing is popovers. I’ve made them a few times. They’re not terribly fatty, but I’d like to see if I can eliminate the yolks and butter. I’ve been using Skim Plus milk, which is really just fake milk, or white water with some thickener added. Tastes like crap.
