who cares if they are a local team. At least they have sponsors who are supporting our sport. Was Discovery an American team?
If the guys live outside of NYC who cares. If you were an up and coming rider would you want to live in NYC? Such quality training roads, such supportive people on their websites. NYC is full of haters and wannabe cyclists. The only thing NYC is good for in cycling is coming up with the cash to keep the sport at the pro level alive.
Good luck in 2008 guys. Go out there and kick some of these older guys ass.

in the Keough brothers. The younger is a real talent in cross and will be in the Junior worlds. Not sure if they are really a local team being that most of the racers are out of NYC. With this said, they have produced some great racers – Andy Guptil of Colavita to name one. Keep it up and best of luck in 2008.

Debatable if they are the strongest local team, debatable if they are a local team and debatable if the future of cycling depends on Sknt producing the last rider for a US continental team. But it is good to see them take on some local riders like Gavi and Adam.
