Sorry Pal, slowing into a darkened overpass with asshole drivers bearing down behind me is NOT safe.
Might I suggest that conscientiously riding 60 feet against traffic where you can see the asshole drivers in front of you is safer.
Fort Lee and the Port Authority choose to do nothing about making that intersection safe for bikes and pedestrians, (like providing a left turn lane) even though it is the ONLY way to ride onto the island of manhattan by bike from Jersey. Fuck them.
