The upcoming weekend's predicted moistness may turn away a few racers, but for those of you who need to race badly, there's many opportunities in the area to stare at another's backside whilst being wet-blasted with road grit.
On Saturday, there's a CRCA Club Race, they will be enforcing field limits at this weekend's races, so arrive early.
Also on Saturday is the Trooper Brinkerhoff Memorial Spring Series Race #2 in (stifled giggle) Coxsackie, NY.
Saturday also brings an opportunity to get your Floyd on at FBF in the King's County Challenge.
Sunday has a Spring Series race at the newly paved Prospect Park.
And rounding things out is the 2012 Outdoor Sport Center Bethel Spring Series - Criterium de Bethel on Sunday.

Another big weekend of racing has been completed, so let us now type the results into the internet and see what happens.
Yes, it is Harlem weekend (known to many other as Father's Day Weekend, but we all know that's just for the norms), but there are other bike related options out there.
Many racing type things happened over the weekend, and a lot of them are not yet recorded, so that allows me to be lazy AND still claim that I checked for results.

Add a commentLast year called and wants its bitchy Foundation post back.
Uh, we all wear clown suits
FOundnation did that last year.....dooooood
Um, I think they were talking about WS United getting DQ'ed dude, not Foundation.
There's no official free lap rule in the race and the rider cannot jump back into the race after he fixed his flat and took a rest break. It's cheating! I love the Foundation's Carnival/Circus uniforms! All they need are some red noses and makeup and big shoes!
"jumped back in race and helped chase down break."
...with his backpack on.
more like a team member flatted out, then jumped back in race and helped chase down break.
This is my guess:
(c) UCI Teams and Category 1 & 2 riders who are members of the same Team or club must wear identifiably similar uniforms when competing in a massed start race except where different uniforms are called for by USA Cycling regulations. This also applies to over garments such as vests, jackets, and rain jackets; for UCI Teams and Category 1 & 2 riders who are members of the same team these items must be transparent or identifiably similar except where different uniforms are called for by USA Cycling regulations. [Offending rider not permitted to start if noted before the race; otherwise, warning for first offense].
If your Foundation lasts for more than 4 hours, consult your doctor immediately.
Does foundation still pay 1k dollars for a win??

anyone know why United was dq'ed?
Who's the Foundation a** licker? Is that you, Inson?
"Foundation dominates regardless of who shows up."
They had 5 riders at Prospect Park this morning. Guess who didn't dominate?
Pretty much...seriously, maybe they should just stick to riding circles in Central Park and Prospect where the competition isn't as potent. They definitely leave something to be desired.
Erectile Dis-Foundation
Yeah all over the place in the back of the field. Those half hearted break away attempts left me limp.
Frowndation non-domination
Foundation was all over the place but nothing seemed to gel. Olsen (Champ-Sys) and his boys where out there putting up a good fight and again nothing let loose. A bit of mix up on the final sprint but everyone walked away. Steinberg (Brauer-Mick) had the day with a win in the masters and a 2nd place finish in the 1,2,3's.
I have a joke for ya...how many Foundation riders are needed to lose a race in Bethel?

... oooh that could so stick.
Juggalos in da house! I see magic all around me!
Insane Clown Posse didn't dominate Prospect unfortunately
Truth Teller states that gassy knoll is an assy-hole . . . . and probably some bitter Cat 3 who has fancy gear to make up for his lack of talent and training.
After lengthy investigation, I have uncovered an ugly truth about foundation: their kits are heinous.
Defamation might be dirty, but not cheating by rules of this forum.
Evidence = Lisban.
Any questions?
Brought to you by Tired of Stimulants superpac.
You need a prescription to do 15min laps? Defamation is one of the dirtiest forms of cheating. If you have evidence submit it to the authorities. Try sportsmanship, or please hurry up and quit.
Truth be told, seems like when they come to a race they write their own scrip.
April Fool's?
gottem
they won exactly one NRC race before the winner was busted.
Foundation dominates regardless of who shows up. Last year with or without Lisbon they competed at the Pro level and won the most NRC races ever for a team without a manager, coach, dir. sportif or any other advisory non-racer position like most teams have.
Well boys - yes, it's true. I, Truth Teller, predicted the inevitable on Friday, when I advised all on this blog not to bother posting for the CRCA race because it was a foregone conclusion that Foundation would win - and man did they win BIG! Whooooooaaaa! Truth Teller will grace you again with HIS predictions next week.
Strong ride by Walker in horrible conditions, no doubt, and kudos for a super human effort, but he clearly was riding with two A field riders for a portion of the race. How is that allowed?
Is is appropriate to say that they dominated when the race excludes all riders from other clubs?
See http://www.crca.net/2012/03/racing-is-fun-331-points-race-results/ for results from today's points race.
The Kings County Challenge at Floyd Bennett Field is CANCELLED. I am at the race course now and it is flooded. It is not safe to hold the race. Please spread the word to your fellow racers and teammates. Our next race will be Round 1 of the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup on April 21.

Bike reg says cancelled because of flooding af FBF
What's the deal? We racing or what?
Brrrr!
Nobody wants that.
FROM: Trooper Brinkerhoff Memorial Spring Series Race #2 (Johnny Cake Lane)
-------------------------------------------------
Dear Trooper Brinkerhoff Memorial Race #2 Participant:
We are planning holding the event tomorrow since we are anticipating that the snow will not stick to the roads due to the warmer temperatures we have had. The race is still ON.
If however conditions deteriorate overnight and we cannot hold the race, we will post a cancellation notice on the Trooper Brinkerhoff homepage (https://www.bikereg.com/Net/14965) and we will also notify all racers, via email, by 8:00 AM on Saturday.
Be prepared for colder weather and wet roads with conditions getting warmer and drier as the day progresses.
See you there!
Tom, Paul and Connie
No place for that here please.
FOUNDATION DOMINICANATION!
FOUNDATION DOMINATION!
The weather forecast is calling for rain tonight into Saturday morning. The course we race on has poor drainage and sometimes large lake-like puddles can form making for unsafe race conditions. In the event this happens the race will be canceled. It's impossible to predict how much rain will fall so I will make the decision to hold or cancel the race when I arrive at the race course around 6AM. I will send updates to everybody that pre-registered and updates willl also be posted on www.nyvelocity.com and www.bikereg.com
Pleae note that we race rain or shine - only if the course is flooded is the race canceled.
